After repairing the car from clogged EGR issue in Arpil I decided to monitor DPF, injectors and Differential pressure with Car Scanner app. For 3 months everything was fine and so we went for summer vacation 4 hours away from home.
On August 6th, while returning from our summer vacation, we split the trip in 2 parts as we needed to stop for stretching our bodies.
In the first part while on the highway I noticed 2 strange drops in soot mass curve. I did not pay much attention at that moment.
In the second part again on the highway I noticed the soot mass calculated value unexpectedly rose from approximately 15 grams to 21 grams which triggered a regeneration. I suddenly remembered that on August 2nd there was also an unexpected regeneration after a sudden rise from 17 grams of soot.
I was really afraid that something is not normal and today I saw again the Check Engine Light. I was really hoping to see an error other than P040100.
Something is so wrong with my engine… Can these misfortune be attributed to bad fuel quality? Was something not addressed in the previous repair?

I am not optimistic. The cost of these kind of repairs is also a big issue. It's not so much the labor cost but mainly the cost of parts.
In psychological terms also it's difficult to know that the car is unreliable and every 4 months will need a repair with huge cost
