Yesterday while driving some strong and strange noises came out of both the rear speakers. Then the speakers were suddenly dead.
I went home, connected ODIS and the outcome was some kind of short circuit
I googled the errors but there is no such result across the internet.
I also realized that the "Balance-Fader" menu has changed into a simple "Balance" menu
I removed the door cards disonnected the right speaker and reconnected it. It started playing but much lower than usual. But the rear left was dead. I disonnected the left speaker and reconnected it. It started playing too (much lower). I thought the problem was somehow fixed but as soon as I erased the error with ODIS, the speakers were dead again.
After removing the door cards there were no signs of water ingress or corrosion anywhere. Since the speakers play music perfectly after disconnection/connection I assume the error is in the MIB unit itself
Any ideas/suggestions are more than welcome

I don't think it's corrosion — it would be too strange for such a coincidence that the problem appeared in both speakers at once.
I also think such a coincidence is strange. That is why I suspect is the 5F unit's fault
You need to check the resistance of the speaker coils.
My rear speakers have 4 pins. Do you know which pins I should check for resistance?
Just do it.))
Multimeter shoes 0 Ohms. I tested different (healthy) speaker and showed 3.9 Ohms.
I think that I must change both rear speakers. It is strange how both rear speakers blew up at the same time
