I have no experience with the functionality of the Peugeot screen. For sure though it is right in the minimalistic fashion
I somehow feel confident that the research team will do its best to provide a stable system without problems regarding random moves.
My experience with the matte 5.8 inches screen of the Composition Media and the shiny black border around it is that in spring and summer sun reflections strain my eyes. I'm afraid that the combination of upper 12.8 inches shiny screen and the lower 8 inches matte screen will be a bigger problem for sunny countries.
I also think that the upper screen should be made of Corning Gorilla glass (like certain smartphones) to avoid scratches.
These are obviously issues that can be dealt with. Thus I am amazed in front of such a big improvement in the car infotainment systems
BMW showed off gesture controls on a concept car at the CES show this week. I like the idea, the only thing that concerns me is random movements made in the car that will accidentally control something.
