According to a Facebook post from MQB-Coding & Retrofit the long awaited new feature of Android Auto named "Coolwalk" is here.
You need to have the new beta version of Android Auto
Some people do not see Coolwalk in their cars unless they clear the application cahce and restart their phone. Others (unfortunate like me) do not manage to see it even with this workaround…
According to autoevolution.com downloading the beta APK installer "…wouldn’t guarantee Coolwalk is available after the installation. This is because a server-side switch is still required before the feature is activated on your device, and right now, it looks like being part of the testing program is mandatory to get Coolwalk."
