During our recent long road trip to Sarajevo the light rain made the car very dirty on the outside. So dirty that we made jokes every time we had to touch the doors to open
On the inside the situation was no better: during these 5 days the passengers were eating inside the car various snacks that left quite a lot of crumbs on the seats and the floor mats.
I wanted to thoroughly wash the car inside out after we return back home. But then a new idea stuck in my head: I should clean the interior but…a professional should take care of the outside. With 3.5 years of use swirl marks were easily noticeable. In addition, winter is almost here and the paint should be protected. Plus the fact that the car deserved it after the completion of a nice road trip :-)
I therefore contacted the a well respected detailing center in my city. We arranged an appointment for estimation of the required actions and the cost of them. We decided to proceed with paint correction and application of a good quality wax (Swissvax Mystery) for the price of 435€. I was also offered a nano ceramic coating for an extra amount of 200€ which I rejected purely for financial reasons.
The car stayed in the detailing center for 4 days. The SF 3500 High Gloss Swirl Remover from Menzerna was used
The wax used is the Swissvax Mystery wax and the results left me extremely satisfied
